On the morning of November 23, 2023, the HaiZi (Halt and Avoid unintentional Injuries among children, through Strengthening of CSOs and ensuring gender equality and disability Inclusion Project) project was jointly launched by World Vision Netherlands and China, together with Safe Kids China and the European Union in Guiyang. More than 30 representatives, including those from local social organizations, were present to witness the launch event.

The project overall objective is to contribute to the reduction of mortality and incidence of unintentional injuries among children aged 0-14 years in western China through strengthening civil social organizations (CSO) and integrating gender equality and disability inclusion.
